#AragonGP: KIEFER RACING AND DOMINIQUE AEGERTER MOVES ON A HIGH TO ARAGÓN

KIEFER RACING AND DOMINIQUE AEGERTER MOVES ON A HIGH TO ARAGÓN

After the brilliant victory last time in Misano, the Swiss Moto2™ rider is determined heading into this weekend round 14 at the impressive track in the outback of Spain.

To win the rain-soaked Misano race one and a half week ago was the second big victory in Dominique Aegerter’s Moto2 Grand Prix career. The bad weather could not harm his and Kiefer Racing’s emotions but after the short break, apart from the perfect conclusion of the weekend in Italy, it is necessary to build on the strong performance in Aragón now.

In Misano, Aegerter finished every session among the top five riders though, during qualifying he even stormed to third place and therefore, the Suter rider started from the first row for the second time this year. Aragón is a track he likes but it has not been easy for him at the challenging five kilometres long circuit in the past.

The lights go out for Sunday’s Moto2™ race as usual at 12:20 pm.

#77 Dominique AEGERTER (Kiefer Racing, Suter MMX2), Championship position 8th (88 points):

"It is of course a great feeling to arrive with a win in the pocket here in Aragón. But we cannot rest on these laurels, we must keep work even harder. This last week was very busy because of so many media scrums and other meetings, but otherwise I could not forget my training. The preparation for this weekend, however, went quite differently easy from the hand. I’m looking forward to Aragón, one of the most attractive tracks of the calendar. In addition, this circuit offers plenty of variety."

"The weather for this weekend, however, seems to be less good but this should not any matter for us as you could see that we are fast in the rain too. Apart from this, only one question mark remains open, as I had some troubles in the last few years here. But with Kiefer Racing and the Suter bike things might have changed again. Let’s see how the weekend get started after we arrived on a high."
