#DA77: "I ALWAYS ENJOY RIDING AT SILIVERSTONE"
The Swiss Moto2™ rider therefore heads in high mood into the season’s round twelve in England and he also wants to end his losing streak this weekend.
After what was a difficult start to into the second half of the season for Dominique Aegerter, the 27-year-old from the canton of Bern is going with positive feelings into this weekend’s round twelve at the massive Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire. Sixth spot on the starting grid and 10th in the race one year ago give justified hopes for a turnaround in point of view of the lack of results in the last races.
With a length just less of six kilometres, Silverstone is one of the longest tracks of the current calendar since its return to the championship back in 2010. Therefore, well-known by teams and riders though a completely re-surfaced track offers a different challenge this time. In addition, Sunday’s schedule contains a serious change with race start at 3:30 pm CET.
#77 Dominique AEGERTER (Kiefer Racing), WM-Position 17 (24 Punkte):
"After the meanwhile longer losing streak for us, I hope for a good weekend in Silverstone. I always like to be in Great Britain as well as the track is really cool, even if it’s not an easy one because of its length. But I like this place: Silverstone is a huge facility and the British fans are just as cool. Therefore, I’m very positive going into this weekend, especially since we have prepared ourselves well for this task. But we have to wait and see how the weather will appear because the conditions are often very changeable which makes the task even more difficult."
