#DA77: VALUABLE TESTINGS IN HOT VALENCIA
On Thursday and Friday this week, Dominique Aegerter and Kiefer Racing had a lot of testing’s to do in Spain.
Just a couple of days after the Misano Grand Prix last weekend, the Dominique Aergerter and its German Moto2™ team headed south, going to Valencia for a private two-day testing. Just before the start of the last third of the season with four oversea races in October, they wanted to take this opportunity to try out several settings to the team’s Moto2 machine apart from the stress of a race weekend. Despite difficult conditions due to hot temperatures, the findings after the conclusion were positive and promising for the remaining season at all. Aegerter was busy on track, doing approximately 170 laps in total on both days. In doing so, he showed an incredible consistency in terms of lap times.
The championship continues in one week with the series’ visit to Spain’s MotorLand Aragón.
#77 Dominique AEGERTER (Kiefer Racing):
"Despite these enormous hot conditions, we did a lot of laps during the past two days and we also tried out many things in several different directions. On Friday, however, it felt that it was again hotter. Therefore, it was not easy to really move forward because of the conditions and to achieve the desired step. However, we need to analyse this test more closely in order to see what details we have worked out are the best and that will bring us to move forward. Then we will be able to make a good package for Aragón and the other races."
