#DA77: To finish 2018 in a decent way

This weekend’s season finale in Valencia marks the end of a two-year collaboration between Swiss Moto2™ star Dominique Aegerter and Kiefer Racing.

After a gruelling long stage of the season with many long trips to the annual flyaway races during the last month, the championship has returned to Europe for the long-traditional end of the season at the Spanish circuit of Valencia. From Kiefer Racing’s point of view, this year’s Asia/Australia tour has been quite satisfying, giving the entire team an additional boost to conclude their current campaign in style. Therefore, Dominique Aegerter eyes to saying goodbye to the German team with a highlight after what was not always an easy season for him and Kiefer Racing.

#77 Dominique AEGERTER (Kiefer Racing), Championship position 17th (42 points):

"As now my future is assured, I’m obviously going into the season’s finale with a great relief. But apart from that, I want to part ways with Kiefer Racing in a decent way. I target having another strong weekend at the end of this championship and I want to show that I’m capable of riding a bike fast. So, after signing the contract for next year, I’m set to tackle the last race weekend this year with one load less and therefore I’m able to work fully focused from the first practice session. The season has gone past incredible quickly once again. When we started working with the KTM bike during our first test in Valencia earlier this year in February, I still have it fresh in my mind. For this weekend, the weather forecast isn’t much more gratifying either. Let’s see what the next few days will bring in this regard."
