Dominique Aegerter returns in best physical conditions to the highly competitive Moto2 World Championship.

The past three weeks seem to have gone by in a flash. Too fast for many in any case. Dominique Aegerter, on the other hand, took just one week off while spending most of the rest of this time in Japan. Although the hoped-for success at this year's edition of the prestigious Suzuka eight-hour race failed to materialise, the 28-year-old Rohrbacher's long journey was definitely worth it. For Aegerter it was a great preparation for the second half of the season in the Moto2 World Championship.

#77 Dominique AEGERTER (MV Agusta Idealavoro Forward, MV Agusta F2):

"My summer break was very exciting. After the Sachsenring race I immediately went to Japan for the first tests for the eight-hour endurance race at Suzuka. Afterwards I was on holiday for one week. Last week were the "Suzuka 8 Hours". It was again a great experience in every respect. At the same time, it was a great training for me. But now the focus is on the Moto2 business again. I'm looking forward to continuing working with my MV Agusta team again and start attacking on the track. Our goal is clearly defined. We want to take the next step in order to be constantly riding within the top 15 and if even possible knocking on the first ten. I have a good feeling that we will achieve our goal. I feel in great shape, even though last weekend was brutally exhausting. But in the last days I was able to recover well. However, I don't count Brno amongst my favourites, but it's still fun to ride here. I'm already curious how my MV Agusta F2 will work on this hilly track."
