2020/11/25 - FIM MotoE™ World Cup: Contract 2021

Dominique Aegerter to stay with Dynavolt Intact GP

In 2021, the 30-year-old Rohrbach motorcycle professional wants to make up for the overall victory in the MotoE™ World Cup that he missed this year in familiar sorroundings.

Dominique Aegerter and his German racing team Dynavolt Intact GP announce the extension of their contract. The cooperation in the electric bike series will be extended by one year. Aegerter, who finished his rookie season in the MotoE™ World Cup in third place overall and picked up the medal in Portimao last Sunday evening, has the firm intention of winning the 2021 title together with his proven crew.

The MotoE™ World Cup 2021 is expected to be held again at seven Grand Prix. With Barcelona and Assen two new circuits will be added.

#77 Dominique AEGERTER (Dynavolt Intact GP, Energica):

"I am incredibly happy about the renewed agreement with the Intact team for the MotoE World Cup next year. Since the beginning of our cooperation earlier this in March, we have been a great team and have had a strong season with two wins and two third places. Unfortunately, there was a lot of bad luck in the end when I was shot down twice. Nevertheless, in the end I finished third overall. So, we still have a score to settle next year and therefore we are going to attack right from the start and try to fight at the top at every opportunity. It was nevertheless an incredibly wonderful moment for me when I received the award for third place overall at the awards ceremony last Sunday. It is my first medal in a FIM racing series. Therefore, it will get a special place."

"Besides thanking my crew for their great job during this season, I would also like to express my thanks the team managers in Dynavolt Intact GP for continuing to believe in me and giving me this opportunity to race for them again. My crew remains unchanged and with the good sponsors in the background I can rely on a strong package. This support is very important as well as I feel very comfortable in this environment. So, I cannot wait to get back aboard my MotoE machine soon. Hopefully, there will be some further developments on the bike during the winter months, so that we can ride a few more laps in the races, with a little more power at the same time. And it would be nice if the bike itself becomes a little bit lighter. I would like that very much."
