Looking ahead to the start of the final quarter of the season, Dominique Aegerter is full of enthusiasm as it starts with one of the most spectacular circuits on the calendar, Spain’s MotorLand Aragón circuit.

Despite an uncertain future, Dominique Aegerter is highly motivated to finish the 2025 season, which has not been easy for him, on a high note. Due to a shoulder injury, he had to miss last year's World Championship’s visit to Aragón, but he knows the track there inside out and wants to lay the foundation there for a top ten finish in the World Championship.

Live broadcasts of the races will be shown this weekend on the Austrian channel «ServusTV». Broadcasts will begin at 1:10 p.m. CEST on both Saturday and Sunday. There will also be additional live action this weekend via streaming on digital platforms such as the online portal «ServusTV On», «Eurosport Player» app, and the official WorldSBK website, where all sessions of the weekend will be broadcast live. However, the latter is subject to a fee and features commentary in English.

«My last race weekend in Aragón was two years ago. The track is beautiful, even if it is not the easiest for me. There are a few corners, especially the two slow chicanes, that cause me minor difficulties. Otherwise, it has everything a great track needs. A lap is very long, and the Corks Crew, followed by the long left-hand corner and several long right-hand corners, as well as the last corner before the start/finish line, providing incredibly fun. There are also long straights with hard braking points at the end. However, I find it a bit of a shame that the circuit is located somewhat out of the way in the outback of Barcelona. Getting there, mostly via country roads, is time-consuming.»

«As there were no tests planned for the last two weeks, I continued my practice with a few days at various tracks. So, I am well prepared for the final part of the season. I am currently in tenth place in the overall standings, which I want to maintain until the end or, if possible, to improve on a bit. So, I hope that I can perform well during the last three race weekends. The goal is always to finish in the top ten and fight for good positions. With a strong Superpole on Saturday, the top six should be within reach, which would be my secret goal. If I can achieve that, I will be happy. Finally, a word about the 2026 season, for which I do not have a ride yet. So, I am still available on the rider’s market.»
