For Dominique Aegerter, the season's round four come to an end on a disappointing note. Unlike on Saturday, he barely managed to finish in the top 15, where he secured the last point.

Despite bright sunshine and spring-like temperatures, Dominique Aegerter had little reason to celebrate on Sunday afternoon. The 35-year-old racer from the canton of Bern moved up one spot on the grid after the warm-up, but in the end, it wasn’t a help. Unlike to Saturday, the Kawasaki rider was barely able to pass anyone in the second race of the weekend in Hungary, though. He benefited from a few retirements.

The championship will continue in two weeks at the Autodrom Most circuit in the northwest of Czech Republic.

«I think today’s result and the single point we scored say it all. We started from P19 on the grid, and I gave it my all, but we weren’t able to improve either in our lap times or the gap to the front. So over the next two weeks, we need to do our homework very carefully, analyzing the data we collected all weekend at this technical track, and review all the areas where we can improve. Still, I’m looking forward to the next race weekend in Most and hope that by then we’ll find something so that we can fight for the positions where we belong. Thank you all for your support, and we’re definitely staying positive.»
