For Dominique Aegerter, the Aragón weekend ended without any points. The 35-year-old is pinning his hopes on a test taking place this Monday and Tuesday at the same circuit. 

From Dominique Aegerter’s perspective, the second race at round six of this year's Supersport World Championship was very similar to Saturday’s. After a good start that moved the Kawasaki rider up two positions on the first lap, the rest of the race was a struggle, with no further ground gained.

After 15 laps, the Swiss rider crossed the finish line in 18th place. Aegerter and his Kawasaki WorldSSP Team will remain in Aragón for a two-day test, which will primarily focus on the tires from the new manufacturer set to be introduced next year.

«We didn’t score any points here in Aragon. It’s tough to fight like this, even though I gave it my all again today. I also tried to adapt better to the bike and pushed to the limit every lap. I was really at the limit, and at times even went beyond it, which led to a few slides. But I couldn’t go any faster. It’s disappointing. Nevertheless, we’re looking forward to a two-day test here at this track, even though we’ll be using tires from a different manufacturer. Still, I hope we can improve my Feeling with the bike and that I can get more comfortable with it. I’m fully motivated for these two days and the work ahead of us, and I’ll give it my all. We never give up, and we hope you all continue to have faith in us.»
